I was recently told that I could state this publicly, so...

In January I started a new job at Cartoon Network! Writing/Storyboarding on Rebecca Sugar's show Steven Universe!

There are so many reasons for you guys to be interested in this thing, you don't even know. Ian Jones-Quartey (of AT and Venture Bros) is on it, Danny Hynes (character designer on Venture) and so many others. Lots of people who are new to boarding but coming out of indie comics, so their stuff is already really funny and full of life.

I'll keep you updated, Pony-style on when the shows start rolling. Can't say much about it other than I'm very excited and thankful to be a part of it. Here's a link to the little bit of press there's been about it:

Thanks, guys.

Hi there,

So as you may or may not have noticed, I've been mostly absent from online dealings. There are some things going on right now in life that are a bit... daunting. I can't go into full detail yet, but some of this ranges from the trouble with my tailbone (which unfortunately meant taking some weeks off from Pound Puppies and cancelling on Dusty's internet show) to probably-to-ambitious Christmas preparations. My mother was visiting for 2 weeks as well and I haven't seen her since 2009 so it only felt fair to give her my full attention when she was here.

As for giving you episode credits, its been hard adjusting my schedule. Now that I don't do them right after the new episodes air, I keep forgetting. I will try to get things back to normal, but some of you are wisely hitting up TheBiggestJim on Twitter to get these details.

In the coming weeks, I'll remain busy, but I'll try not to be completely absent. I miss talking/chatting with folks--brony or otherwise. :)

Below you'll find an up to date info relating to the last few pony eps:

Official Synopsises:

"A magical empire has suddenly appeared in the arctic north of Equestria, and PRINCESS CELESTIA needs TWILIGHT SPARKLE and her friends to find a way to protect it. I think my love of SonicxSally may have sparked my love of EddxEddy. While all four characters are wildly different, there are indeed some core overlapping traits. If you find yourself shipping characters, can you see certain character traits carried through the character relationships you find appealing?

Discuss.

As some of you already know, :iconsibsy:, Big Jim Miller, Wootie and I all went to Everfree Northwest a couple weeks ago. There we were received by some of the sweetest people I've ever met. Nice to actually put a face to the people I see online in some cases! It felt like the buds of many new friendships were formed that weekend...

Sigh.. LoL We didn't want to leave. XD

Anyway, if you didn't get a chance to meet us/interact with us, the Equestria Inquirer guys (formerly the Gravy Inquirer to you Eds fans) snuck in a few interviews. If you haven't seen them, here you go:

www.youtube.com/watch?list=UUS…

That one's cued up to Me and Sibsy, but there is a Wootie interview and another Big Jim one as well. Plus some pretty fun little Eds references here and there. Since.. you know.. all the board people representing at the con were also Eds alumni. Hearing Wootie's "Jonny voice" brings back some fond memories.

Anyway, just wanted to say that stuff! Enjoy if you haven't already seen it! Whoo!

We split this up differently than other 2-parters have been split (from my understanding). Like I was saying to Sabrina earlier, we were all doing the types of sequences we're best at. The result is something we're all pretty proud of. :D
