Exploratory Peetrick Sketches by Raveneesimo Exploratory Peetrick Sketches by Raveneesimo
Another exercise in rotating my character Peetrick. I tend to draw things to death... But all this exploratory doodling really produces better drawings in the end. I was so good at drawing Ed, Edd n Eddy because I simply did it constantly.

Those fishy lips are fantastic- love this character! Can't wait to see what you have in store for him. It's great to be able to see how ideas/characters develop, the experimental stuff shows so much thought. Even the shape of his tail in that light doodle on the right, the little tufts on his heels and so on, lots of interesting decision-making!

Your Peetrick sketches always have so much emotion, its killing me to know nothing about what or why he/she is always so sad or upset or curious, or whats going through your head, its just interesting, but don't tell us....no, defiantly don't tell us.

Constantly drawing one subject is something I wish to stop doing in the future, and instead draw by forms and actions, because when you keep drawing something good it might get better, but when you introduce a new element you'll have to start from the beginning and work up the constant train to be good again.

besides that, this is nice ;>
